Monday: We went and got our nails done, that was an interesting experience. The nail lady was asking me all these questions about missionaries and what mormons believe so I got to share the gospel with her! But I had a bad missionary moment and didn't give her anything. So shame on me.
Tuesday: Last Zone Conference with President and Sister Salisbury. We taught for a half an hour about chapter 11 of Preach My Gospel and the spirit was so strong. It really was so amazing. They talked a lot about stuff they would share with us when we depart from the mission, but since they were departing they shared it with us! It was really weird to hear all this departing stuff since I have SIX MONTHS LEFT. President just kept saying now elders and sisters lock your hearts. I was like do not worry pres, my heart is locked! haha :) President gave us permission to hug him before he left, so I did, was bawling throught out the whole thing but whateves. We went on exchanges with the Parkersburg sisters after and I was with Sister Nyborg. :) I LOVE HER. It was a really fun exchange of getting locked out of our house, super spiritual lessons, and getting lost because I'm new here!
Wednesday: We talked to a bunch on construction workers during the exchange, they were pretty nice, we gave them book of mormons! Then me and Sister Sorenson went and visited an old less active named Billy Scraggs. He has 30 cats and Sister Sorenson is allergic and they started rubbing up on her and so I had to like reach across her to get them off of her. #superfun
Thursday: We weekly planned. #yay But after we went to the mission office to grab some pics for our lesson later that night WHEN WE SAW PRESIDENT AND SISTER SALISBURY AGAIN. #sohappy #theblessingsofcharleston We taught the Mouls; Nathan and Felicia! They are awesome, we brought them subway, they were super happy. We taught them and AMAZING restoration lesson and we cleared up some concerns they had and committed them to church! :) While we were leaving Subway, some lady walked up to us and tried to get us to go to her bible study and she gave us a pamphlet about how church is actually supposed to be on Saturday. #awkward
Friday: We had district meeting. The assistants decided to join us during our role play. The Charleston world is so different that I ever imagined. We saw Sister New and she told us about how on her trip, the cops came to the house she rented. She had an adventure. And we saw Sister Mullens, she gave us hair curlers. #umthanks
Saturday: We tracted a lot. That's bout it.
Sunday: We went to ward coordination and ward council and right when we left ward council, the Lindhardts walked in. THEY ARE SO NICE. You know when someone can just like stare right into your soul? Well that bout describes him. He is has so much energy and life in him! I am so excited to get to work with him! Sister Lindhardt tried to just give me a handshake but I was like Nope! I'm giving you a hug! She was like oh yeah I can give you hugs! :) Anyways later on, Sister Sorenson had to go to the bathroom so we stopped by the church and our piano is cool and it can play songs by itself so i just sat there belting these church songs. It was really fun. I think we should make that a weekly thing.
My glasses that I got from Sister Sackett broke. I was really sad.
I LOVE YOU ALL TO THE MOON AND BACK!
Sister Schoemig
