"If You Find It's Me Your Missing"...Its Because I've Been Gone 15 Months

So my title has to do with the fact that we are obsessed with this song named Homeward Bound and it's by BYU Vocal Point. (I'll attach it to my email) It's a line they sing in the song, I just added my own lyrics to it for all y'all that have been missing me. :)
Well, we are going to be playing volleyball with the assistants and the zone leaders again today, so I don't have too much time.
Here are some prime moments of this missionary's life from the week:
We had zone conference, but this time it was different. We got to teach our segment on being exactly obedient and literally everyone was so pumped afterwards. #wearegoals AND THEN President took us all out to Clendenin to do SERVICE. THIS WAS SO MUCH FUN. My companion was interviewed and was on the news (and im in the back painting). If you want to look it up its on WXAZ channel 3: Flood Recovery Effort Continues In Clendenin. It was such a good uplift to my soul and to the community.
One day, I had to go the bathroom really bad, but we were tracting with no bathrooms nearby. We kept tracting of course, and just decided to ask someone if I could use their restroom. We knocked on the last door of the street and gave our spheil. She sadly declined. Then sister paulson asked "she really has to go the bathroom could she use yours real quick?" the lady gave us a smile said no and closed the door REAL quickly. #bless
We were tracting at another point of the week, not really having much success either, when we were standing at this door and Sister Paulson turned to me and said Have you..........met a lot of people out here that like Lady GaGa? haha, apparently in her mission shes met a lot of people who LOVE Lady GaGA, I have yet to meet any avid Lady GaGa lovers though.
At 8:45 pm one night, we were tracting, plans fell through. When we knocked on this one door, I had pointed out this GINORMOUS bee to Sister Paulson two seconds earlier when the lady answered the door and sister paulson said "hey i just want to point out that that is a ginormous bee" the lady wasnt too impressed with the bee but she did have mormon friends and she wants to learn more!!!
I hit my 15 months of being a missionary this past friday. Then yesterday we were at a members home for dinner and they asked me how long i'd been out so i said 15 months and they said really loudly WHOA and then they proceeded to stare at me for a little bit. And so it begins...
Our church got fleas AGAIN. We really need to get these fleas cleaned up, its getting really annoying haha.
We went on exchanges with the Parkersburg sisters. I was with Sister Rawlings. She is super cute. :) Stellar missionary for sure. We were heading back to exchange back to our normal companions when we were driving past this street with one of our investigators and the spirit told me to turn so I turned. We went and knocked on her door and we were able to teach her!
We were also trying to finish planning our zone conference segment when we were just stuck at a road block. We decided since we couldn't think of anything else, that the Lord probably didn't want us teaching that, so we said a prayer to open our minds and help us to start over with it. And then it flowed. It was truly amazing and the spirit was so strong guiding us to what we needed to do. Best segment yet.
Anyways, I'm happy and healthy! I love being a missionary!
I LOVE YOU ALL TO THE MOON AND BACK!!!
Keep reading your Book or Mormon, going to church, and praying! It will keep you spiritually alive!
