Hello Grandma House

What up fam bam and friends!
Lemme tell you about the rest of my week.
Thursday: We got up, I finished packing, and we headed to transfers. We got to hear President's story of transfers, which was pretty neat for me to hear. He said that while we were all on that phone and I told him about me going up to Cross Lanes, that he just felt the spirit telling him that that is where I needed to be. Super cool experience to be able to have been apart of receiving inspiration for transfer doctrine for myself! haha.
So Sister Condie and her new comp, Sister Lambert took us up to Cross Lanes and there we stayed for the rest of the day. We were weekly planning ALL DAY because of how much reconstruction (im not sure if that is the right word to use?) this area needs. We are starting completely over. We felt like in order to have our proselyting lives in order we needed to have our home in order and our plans in order. So we did just that. We made GOALS, we set PLANS, and ITS GONNA BE AWESOME.

The house we live in, not that smelling like a grandma is bad, but when its so overwhelming that you can smell it before you even enter the house, you know its bad. Sooooo...if anyone knows of any way good air freshners PLEASE HELP US. Thanks! ;)

Friday: Honestly being in a new area, I am not really remembering much but we had district meeting, and we went out a talked to a bazillion people. We taught this old guy named Earl, he likes to talk, but he wants to learn. We have just gotta work on our boldness skills some more. And we taught CHERYL. So the one huge blessing of Cross Lanes is Cheryl Robertson. She is getting baptized on November 4th and she is the sweetest lady ever!!

Saturday: We taught two more new investigators, Charlie and Cheryl, these two will listen, but they LOVE to talk over each other and its funny to watch! They are super duper sweet and I can't wait to teach them more! We talked to a lot of people, and did a lot of things. HARD WORK, am i right? We were tracting these apartments at the end of the night, and we met this young girl named Sarah and she told us we could come back the next day! SOOo...

Sunday: We went to church and honestly, this was really really weird for me. Everyone at the 1st ward was really excited to still have me there, but it was strange and really hard to be so close to my last area and all the people I love SOOO much and to not be their sister missionary. But Cheryl came and it was a blessing to have her there to distract my mind from all that. :) We then went and taught SARAH. SHE IS SOOOO COOL. We taught her the restoration and then I felt prompted to tell her my experience on how it has helped me and how I know it is true and after that she was super excited to read from the Book of Mormon! When we asked her if she would read it, she almost yelled YES! She was that excited. :) We did a lot of tracting and talking to nice people, we ate dinner with the Framptons (a member family) and they are super super nice and I love them already. I've never laughed harder at a dinner appointment. :)

So yeah, my week was a lot of tracting. Haha. But its fun! It's cool to see, especially with being with a newer missionary how much my tracting skills have improved. Oh yeah, btw, I hit my SIXTEEN MONTHS and that's super weird but yay!!!! :) :) :) WE haven't done anything to celebrate yet but hopefully soon! :)

Cross Lanes is on the up and up and I am too. :)
I LOVE YOU ALL TO THE MOON AND BACK!
Sister Schoemig
